I wish I would have took a picture of the end result. Tony did a horrific job with my hair. Of course I went just for a trim. My hair is one length, it should have been easy. However he did a uneven job in the back. It was all sorts of different lengths. I didn't see it when I left the salon because he blowed dried it and made it look bouncy. When I got home I straighten my hair and saw how uneven it was. I went back the next day and Stephanie did an amazing job evening it out. She could see the work Tony did. She felt bad that I had to go back . Overall, I lost 3-4 inches in length. Definitely did not come out as a trim.

My stylist Nelly apparently left the salon a week prior to my appointment date. The staff did not inform me of her departure. I was rebooked with another stylist without my consent. When I cancelled, I was charged half the cost of my appointment since it was the day of my appointment. This was a rude and unprofessional treatment of a client, especially since I didn't discover Nelly'so departure until the day of my appointment. I cancelled all future booked appointments and will never be a patron of Truu Salon again.

I booked my appointment online for full color (which the site stated the appt. length was 85 min). When I arrived for my appointment the hair stylist told me that she didn't have time to color my hair. She also told me that I would have to bleach my hair to dye it the same color I already have because you can"dye on top of color". I went to another salon and they were able to do this without bleaching my hair. I was very disappointed in my experience with this salon.

Amanda was absolutely lovely and her personality was fantastic.
However I am truly sorry to say that I was very disappointed with my bridal hair and make up. I left the salon and the hair looked alright it wasn't what I wanted, when arriving at the beach, which was only ten minutes away my hid was completely flat? I asked how long it will last and I understand that it won't Last and look beautiful all evening, I didn't even get good photos, my hair is just flat! I also thought the make up was way to much for a beach wedding. Like I said I'm very sorry to have to say this because Amanda was such a lovey girl, unfortunately I was really disappointed...

Michael was a very nice young man.
I was very disappointed with the end result of my haircut. My appointment was scheduled at 3:15 pm and I had to wait until 3:45 pm to be seen. I informed Michael that I was celebrating my birthday and I was expecting people for my party. He did a botanical treatment and proceeded with my haircut. The end result was totally different of what I was expecting. My hair looked like someone emptied a bucket of greasy water on it, but my hair was dry. In other words, I looked like a wet noodle. I called the salon 5 minutes after I left and I spoke to Megan and I asked her if the botanical treatment leaves your hair with a wet look and she stated that she was sorry that it looks like that, but she said "So what do you want me to do ?????" I replied just tell Michael that I won't ever come back because I was very unhappy with the result of my hair. I got home and washed my hair to removed the greasy feeling and fixed my hair myself. I paid for a haircut and blow dry, not a haircut and a wet looking head of hair that I had to fix myself :(

The hairdresser suggested that I didn't need a hair cut even after I clearly told her that I needed my layers redone because when I curl my hair it doesn't lay the right way. She didn't even bother to look at my hair to see if the layers were good and asked if I liked my length. I said yes I like my length but there was something wrong with the layers. After her again suggesting I should wait for a haircut and that she didn't have time to do my eyebrows, I decided that she probably didn't know how to cut layers and wanted to color me and get me done and out the door. The color wasn't that great either. No highlights around my face even after I told her that the front was the most important since my grays come out. I'm already pretty blonde and asked to go blonder. She told me she couldn't do it and that I would have to come back and next time we would go blonder. I'm the same exact color I was when I went in as far as the highlights go. I won't return.

Standard Aveda- asked if I wanted tea or water.
Angelica barely greeted me, there was no conversation at all beyond how do you want your hair cut. And, her view of how to cut my hair was very abrupt. I asked a question about a product and she was somewhat dismissive, I expressed concern about the incredible amount of steam from the dryer touching my hair and my concern about heat damage and she said it's just water and that's how she was trained and it would take forever to try to dry it differently. Very flat affect- like I was bothering her to be there, ask questions about my hair, and have an have opinion about the way I want to cut. I was happy when it was over (30 minutes total with wash, cut, and dry and I have really long hair). I almost always tip 20-30 percent- this time I only tipped 5%. I almost stopped her and said something but decided I wasn't in the mood for a confrontation. I just wanted to relax. Oh, and there was obvious hair in the brush she used on me to dry my hair.
