I found Truu Aveda Salon on Yelp. I'm in town for the month and I was in need of a hair miracle for my training. Thankfully I found one. I have very dark roots and the rest of my hair is blonde. I needed to get my hair back to one color. Amanda was a life saver! From the time I walked in I felt welcome and at ease. She knew exactly what do with my hair and gave me advice on how to take proper care of my hair. She advised me on my dry scalp and used products that wouldn't hurt it. Her expert advice was amazing and very helpful. I am so happy with my results! This is the first time my hair has turned out this good. She made my first experience at an Aveda salon phenomenal. I definitely am going to book another appointment with Amanda and recommend her.

I love the stylist. Both my wife & go to her & she is fantastic.
It is completely sexist & offensive that a men haircut is cheaper than a women's. My hair is longer than my wives & I think it is hanis that my haircut is more then half the price of hers. Get it fixed.

I booked my appointment online for full color (which the site stated the appt. length was 85 min). When I arrived for my appointment the hair stylist told me that she didn't have time to color my hair. She also told me that I would have to bleach my hair to dye it the same color I already have because you can"dye on top of color". I went to another salon and they were able to do this without bleaching my hair. I was very disappointed in my experience with this salon.

I have been in search of a new stylist as my current one is not quite providing what I need/want. Juliane was very nice. However, she's not the one....but again she had very nice presence.
My service included full hair color. I said I wanted a chocolate brown color that closely matches my natural hair color (I have some grey, but plenty of brown to see my color). Unfortunately, the stylist made the color for me. I was not given/offered a color chart from which to choose -- I should have asked prior. The color I got was very close to black and certainly not what I wanted/asked for. It was hard to see the color inside the salon so I could not see the true color until I was outside.
